Every test the statistical test guidance knows, all at once. Answer the questions in any order and the tests that no longer fit fade out. The number beside each answer is how many tests would remain if you chose it.

One-Way ANOVA

Close

Test used to compare the means of one interval or ratio dependent/criterion variable between two or more groups defined by one nominal independent variable. Assumes normally distributed data, homogeneous variances, and independent observations.

Check first: The DV is normally distributed in each group, and the variances are equal (if not, Welch's ANOVA).

If its assumptions are not met, see: Kruskal-Wallis Test.
