Every test the statistical test guidance knows, all at once. Answer the questions in any order and the tests that no longer fit fade out. The number beside each answer is how many tests would remain if you chose it.
One-Way ANCOVA
CloseUse to study the differences in means of one interval or ratio dependent variable (DV) accounted for by one categorical independent variable (IV) while accounting for the influence of one or more interval or ratio covariates, such as a pretest. The purpose is to remove the variance due to the covariate from total variance. Assumes independence of observations, homogeneity of variances, and normal distribution of the DV.
Check first: There is a continuous covariate, measured before the treatment (such as a pretest). It is related linearly to the DV, with the same slope in every group.
