Every test the statistical test guidance knows, all at once. Answer the questions in any order and the tests that no longer fit fade out. The number beside each answer is how many tests would remain if you chose it.

Pearson Correlation Coefficient

Close

Parametric test used for two interval or ratio variable. Requires the data to be bi-variate normal and the relationship between variables to be linear.

Check first: Both variables are normally distributed and linearly related, with no influential outliers.

If its assumptions are not met, see: Spearman Correlation Coefficient, Kendall Correlation.
